GreenICT - co-operation with ICTRegie for IIP Sustainable ICT

The ICT Innovation Platform for Sustainable ICT is initiated by GreenICT foundation. The IIP Sustainable ICT is active since 24 October 2007 and was officially recognized by ICTRegie at 18 january 2010. This innovation platform does have the support of, among others, Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of technology, TNO, University of Twente and Wageningen University & Research center.

The IIP sustainable ICT is an open alliance between researchers, companies and/or social organizations and users. It aims to encourage and promote sustainability in the information and communication technologies among others through the joint development of a theme-based strategic research agenda. It is up to the participants to give the agenda further details.
One might think of subjects such as energy efficiency, recycling, sustainable software, innovative materials, and sustainable (wireless) network infrastructures.

Participation is in principle open to all commercial, public and academic organizations that are active in this field. Please visit the website of the ICT Innovation Platform sustainable ICT here (in Dutch).
